Mr. Moore was born in Hartford, CT and has lived in 9 different states.  He went to Colorado College where he graduated in 1982.  In 1988 he went back to school to become a teacher.  He has taught in schools in Colorado, in Massachusetts,  and in Virginia before coming to El Portal School in 1998.
    Mr. Moore’s favorite day of  school is the first day of school.  He likes the enthusiasm of  the students and the possibilities of a fresh start.
    When Mr. Moore is not teaching school he likes to be doing something in the outdoors with his family.  He likes skiing, hiking, and traveling.  Every night he has to read a good book before he goes to bed.
